What is error correction and which level should I choose?

Can I use NoTraQR offline?
Once the page has loaded, QR generation works without an internet connection. A connection is needed to initially load the page and to display the advertisement.
How do I print a QR code in 3D?
Download the STL file, open it in your slicer (Bambu Studio, Cura or PrusaSlicer) and print as a flat tile. Modules are raised 0.4–0.8 mm. For two colours, use a filament change at that layer or a multi-material system like Bambu AMS.

Do generated QR codes expire?
No. NoTraQR generates static QR codes. The destination is encoded directly into the pattern — no redirect service, no expiry.
What size should I choose for my QR code?

Are custom-coloured QR codes scannable?
Yes, as long as there is sufficient contrast between foreground and background. Black on white is most reliable. Always test before printing at scale.

What NoTraQR itself collects
NoTraQR generates QR codes entirely inside your browser. The content you enter — URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, text — is never sent to any NoTraQR server. We have no database, no user accounts and no logging of your input.
An anonymous counter (+1) is sent to our server each time a QR code is generated. This request contains no content, no cookies and no persistent identifiers. A temporary hashed IP is used solely to prevent abuse and is deleted within 60 seconds.
Google AdSense
NoTraQR displays one Google advertisement to cover operating costs. Google AdSense may place and read cookies on your browser, use web beacons, and collect your IP address and browsing behaviour to serve relevant ads. This data is processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you will be asked for your consent before personalised ads are shown, in accordance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
